Freckled & Blue is a caterer, food truck and restaurant based in Smyrna, GA and serving the Atlanta-metro region. The company was started in 2012 by Juliana Lindley (who just happens to have freckles) and Tyler Lindley (who just happens to have blue eyes).
Freckled & Blue is a modern southern eatery that serves a fun and unique spin on southern food. Freckled & Blue’s staple item is their pimento cheese and is called FAB Pimento Cheese (FAB for Freckled and Blue, duh!). FAB Pimento Cheese comes in many different flavors and their most popular version is the Jalapeño-Bacon FAB Pimento Cheese (for now, at least).
Starting with the food truck, Freckled & Blue catered many events and participated in many food truck rallies and festivals.
Freckled & Blue expanded its operation and opened up their commissary space to the public with a small eat-in/carryout restaurant.
Freckled & Blue is a for-profit business with giving built into its business model. We promise to “feed an Atlantan in need with every meal purchased.” We do that by partnering with local Atlanta non-profits such as the Atlanta Mission and local homeless shelters who help those who need it most. Freckled & Blue makes cash donations and holds food truck events for those in need and hopes that everyone will “eat, give and grow” with our business.
As the business continues to grow, Freckled & Blue is expanding in 2014 with continued innovation in their pimento cheese, catering, Giveback program, food truck and restaurant.
